Greekorian by Lacole Kinter
To start off, I just want to mention how gorgeous the cover is! I am a huge fan of matching covers that actually relate to the story and this one did just that. It is elegant, beautiful and perfectly matching.
I enjoyed the story, I found it difficult to stop and finished in less than 2 days. You are definitely caught and held as the story unravels. There are a few unexpected twists which are nice as well. I found the characters enjoyable and the continuation smooth and consistent.
There were a few cons that bothered me a little bit. One being that the main character, Adrasteia, is asked ever few pages if she is hungry by someone or other. It sometimes breaks the flow of the story and one wishes that you might have more on the surroundings and settings than focusing so much on if she is hungry, but that is just a small matter. The other thing that bothered me slightly was the similarity it draws now and again to Twilight, especially the end.
Having said that, it was a very enjoyable read and I look forward to more from this author. I would recommend it as a very enjoyable YA novel.
