Warrior Brothers by Keith Fennell
This is the second book of Mr. Fennell’s that I have read and I am as impressed with it as I was with the first one I came across.
It follows in detail and close attention the journey Mr. Fennell went through in his training for the SAS. In 1995, Keith Fennell was a 21 year old and accepted into the Australian Special Air Service Regiment. This is an extremely hard selection and the training is even more intense and difficult. His adventures over the next 11 years would see him on operations in the thick jungles of East Timor, in the waters around Antarctica and in the merciless, blistering deserts of Afghanistan.
On these dangerous missions, not only did Mr. Fennell test the limits of his endurance and ability, but also made life-long friends in the forms of his fellow Special Forces buddies.
This book is an opportunity to have a close look at the life of a SAS soldier and to be given a little glimpse of the incredibly harsh and exciting lifestyle of these men.
This is a heart-touching, exciting adventure written in a way that allows the reader to imagine events as the story is being told. I’m hoping for more books from this inspiring author!
Looks like a great read! 🙂
