Book Review – Within my Grasp

Within my Grasp by Mike Penketh

Following the life of Michael Penketh, this book is a step by step account of a brave man with a determined spirit. Beginning with an account of Mike’s early love for planes and then his high-school and college years, you begin to see how much flying actually means to him.

Very inspiring read – definitely gives one a new perspective of the strength and ability of the human spirit.
Well written with clear descriptions and set out in a manner that not only allows the reader to really have a look into Mike’s life but also appreciate the journey and understand the obstacles.

Recovering from a horrific accident that almost killed him, Mike Penketh had to start anew. Mike needs to fly and even a life-changing, terrifying accident cannot keep him from what he loves.

This is a fantastic story of one man’s journey through coping with a disability and excelling and inspiring others with his courage.
