Mid-year Bookshelf

I have been lucky enough to read so many great books this year. The count is already over 20 and I am looking forward to the next 5 months of exploring and enjoying even more books.

Since it is just over mid-year, I thought to do a post of books I have especially enjoyed the first half of the year. To keep it interesting, I won’t include some of my usual favourites that I have read four or five times, just those I have read for the first time this year. They are recorded in no special order.

These four have really stood out for me. They are vastly different genres, but all have that aspect of a story well written with intriguing and engaging characters, a storyline that holds the attention and a tale that stays with you long after the last page is turned. Another fantastic thing is that most of these books are written by indie authors.

Reviews on all of these books can be found on Terraverum.
