It's Ok to Dream

When people tell me to stop living in my dream world, I tell them that it’s impossible – it is my reality.

How can someone tell you what is reality and what is not? We dream and it becomes reality to us, it needn’t make sense to anyone else. Why live in a world where boring is considered reality and dreams are considered a waste of time?

If you think there are mermaids under the sparkling azure waters of the harbour, don’t stop imagining how their silky tails cut through the water and pink and orange anemones will adorn their hair. If you see fairies on the mossy banks of a forest stream or sleeping in a blossom – that is your dreamworld, it belongs to no one else. Unicorns and elves, speaking animals and dryads, they are all part of dreams that enrich our world, allow us to open our minds to stories and wonders. They allow us to escape those harsh realities that the world sometimes throws at us, a little colourful escape for the mind recover and smile.

Let no one take your dreamworld from you.
