I have been thinking a lot lately about the swift passing of life and how little time we actually have. I have gathered a few saying about taking chances, adventures and being brave. There is hardly anything as pleasing and wonderful as finding the courage to do something exciting – to try something new and step out of your old ways to live more fully.

If you don’t take risks, you’ll have a wasted soul.  ~Drew Barrymore

I believe in getting into hot water; it keeps you clean.  ~G.K. Chesterton

Do not be too timid and squeamish about your actions.  All life is an experiment.  The more experiments you make the better.  What if they are a little course, and you may get your coat soiled or torn?  What if you do fail, and get fairly rolled in the dirt once or twice.  Up again, you shall never be so afraid of a tumble.  ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Risk more than others think is safe. Care more than others think is wise. Dream more than others think is practical. Expect more than others think is possible. “~ Cadet Maxim
“Never let the odds keep you from doing what you know in your heart you were meant to do.”~ H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
“Wheresoever you go, go with all your heart.”~ Confucius
Here is to living with the courage to overcome fear and embrace life with both arms, not holding onto the past and safety lines.
