Picture of the Past

Why do we take photographs? I have been wondering about this lately. When I take a photo, I consider time when it was impossible to freeze a moment in time. Or just a few years back when you clicked a picture and had to wait days to see how it came out. Thinking about it from a different angle, isn’t it amazing that we keep little pictures of the past. It is absolutely amazing – we are looking at the past, at a memory that happened. Sounds like something from science fiction actually, that we have the ability to make a tangible copy, a little document of something that has already happened. We then take it out and look at it, and share it, holding it dear.
