Heart & Hope

Sometimes I read a book that opens my eyes or watch a movie that inspires me. Sometimes it is just a small thing like seeing the golden-pink stain on the sea at sunset. Sometimes it is the way and animal trusts and the loyalty they unrestrainedly give. Sometimes it is just a look in someone’s eyes or a dream that leaves you with feelings even after it has faded into nothing. There are so many things that make us pause for a while and look at things from a different perspective. Realizing that the amazing mysteries and secrets in life are sometimes the most obvious. We think magical fantasies are only in books, and how can some things be true – such things are not ‘possible’ in ‘real’ life. I sometimes catch myself believing this and then I am ashamed at myself. There is so much proof around of unparalleled beauty and mystery – how can I be disappointed? But seeing the colours of the ocean at twilight – I realized all the amazing wonder we can imagine – is right here. Pearly pink and golden shimmers – how is that possible in the ‘real’ world. How is the undeserved friendship of a pet possible in a ‘real’ world. How is a misty forest, a laughing brook, and a golden field dotted with crimson poppies possible in this world we believe to be dark and dull?

We better just start realizing and believing that our ‘real’ world is more magical than we can ever imagine.
